I made my pick last night before the lines shifted at +4.5 for portland and the knicks by placing a two team 4.5 point teaser for -110. This boosted their line to +9, to ensure an easy win here in my money.

The lines have shifted for the knicks game by two points and the portland one by .5, but by placing a two team teaser on the two teams will boost you up to +7 knicks, and +8.5 Trailblazers.

I would still go for the underdog spread here without the extra 4.5 points because both teams are onto a hot start, and with a double digit victory as i had predicted in yesterday's matinee between NY and PHI, there is no way that the Knicks wouldn't keep this game close on the road. They are looking strong right now by having a +18 point differential in their first two games.

On the other hand, Portland's rookie Lillard is playing at an all-star level these past three games, and he is doing a magnificent job in adding more depth to the talent the Blazers already have. Aldridge looks tough to cover inside, and is making things much easier for the perimeter players by forcing teams to collapse on him inside. Both Batum and Lillard can hit those outside shots. Look for a high % shooting night from Portland tonight, and if they happen to even come out with a win, do not be surprised. This should be an even spread against the short handed Mavs.

Portland has covered a +8.5 point spread 8-2 in the last ten games, and without Dirk for the mavs, plus the addition of a great young leader in Damian Lillard, look for the blazers to jump to 9-2.

NY is 9-2 against the spread in its last 11 games against Philly, and with a 16 point victory last night, the chances of a result in difference of 23 points is nearly unrealistic (+7), but would still cover you for a win.

I am 2-0 thus far in the NBA season while using bangthebook's forums, but have a greater record in reality. I am giving you a guaranteed winner pretty much tonight.

Tease the Knicks and Blazers by 4.5 points! Have fun !
