As a born and raised Laker fan, I'm always looking forward to it. Even more so this year, with Howard and Nash on board, can't wait.
HOWEVER.... pissed off about the TV ordeal. Time Warner owns the rights to TV games now, (other than TNT or ABC, etc) and DirectTV, although trying, doesn't look like they're going to work anything out to be able to carry the games. Local bars in California are not happy. It's a major topic of discussion. I do not want to pay $200 for the league pass, just to see every game. I'm one of those sickos that really does watch just about every game I can.
I must be gettin' old... I still think baseball is cool.
I guess the real thing starts on Tuesday. I have got to be one of the worst nba cappers alive. Since I am off work for at least two more months, I am probably going to bet it this year even though it is rare I make a bet. I will just keep all my plays at one unit that way even if I get destroyed it will not bankrupt me.
I am very excited tonight. I always think I can win in the start of the season. I am sure that will fade in a week or two. I generally only play contests in the nba and stop betting it once ncaa hoops starts. I am so much better in college hoops.
