Miami edged St. Louis 17-14 thanks to once perfect Greg Zuerlein missing 3 field goals, including the potential game tying 66 yarder that would have set an NFL record had it split the uprights. Buffalo edged Arizona 19-16 in OT as Rian Lindell made a chip shot 25 yarder 4:00 into the extra session. Jay Feely nailed a 61 yarder with 3:00 left in regulation to tie the game but could not convert a 37 yarder as time expired.
So with the first 6 games for each in the division at a stalemate, who looks like the team that can gain control over the final 10 weeks? Call it parity. Call it matchup advantage. The equation will be unbalanced this week as Miami is in their bye week, while in addition to the Jets/New England showdown Buffalo plays host to Tennessee.
