Can we now say this is the most up in the air season ever?

There just seems to be no reason for the majority of games this NFL season. 2 games that strike me today are Cin/Clev and NE/Sea. Now before the games upsets were possible. But once the game gets going both favorites look good, have leads, and the games just seemed to turn for no reason. Same thing with the Jets this week. How do they go from averaging under 20 points the first 5 games, to scoring 35 today? Don't get me wrong, it makes watching the games tons more fun, but it makes the NFL unbetable.

i disagree....it changes true.... emotion is a big part too...just like indys big home win over gbay...hard to match that next week usually a let down, and exspecially with a young team, sure big leads change..hell oak was driving with 2 min left to win int changes it they still drive rt down the field and score in atlanta? they looked like a 4-1 team in atlanta these are pros ...any given week any team can lose gl all 151 some do well when others cant and vice versa

You’ve got to get to the stage in life where going for it is more important than winning or losing.

Just when you think you get a feel for who is the best, they lose. I like it though. Get sick of the same team being good year in and year out. My Dolphins are tied for first place. Then again they are tied for last place. All teams in the East are 3-3.

LOL at tied for first and last....guess Green Bay doesn't suck any more either....regular season wins don't matter as much in the current NFL...look at the 2 best regular seasons put together in recent memory - the Patriots undefeated regular season and the Packers last year....neither won the Superbowl....I think they all realize they are better off if they can go on cruise control and even have a couple of bad games as long as they are able to turn it on for the last 4 games heading into the playoffs....different philosophy than before....

The level of parity in the NFL varies from year to year. Any given Sunday even the most dormant or dominant of teams can have their day. One team appears to be on cruise control and then a sense of motivation inspires them or their opponents in the second half. Week to week this has not changed, and that's why they play the games as the ever annoying yet legendary Chris Berman said.
