Following last nights final second controversial call that witnessed Seattle win against Green Bay, though video clearly showed the Packers had an interception, popular online bookmaker (.ag) has decided to refund all Packers bets.

"Andy Reynolds: We are not offering refunds for this game there is a site with the domain of that provides support to Europe that is offering that but we don't offer this we are and unfortunately the official decision is that the winners are the Seahawks and we work based on the official decision of the game so unfortunately there is nothing that we can do about this"

They're sneaky though. The wager was refunded in the form of a freeplay, which in turn could still likely benefit those who bet Green Bay.

Interesting that its only the .com portion of all those reside in the EU and the # of players is probably alot smaller and they are used to refund bets seems to happen occasionally with games there..

yes it was a Euro book promo. Paddy Power did it as well.

AFAIK, the only US-facing book that did anything was Heritage, and they gave $25 or $50 freeplays for bets of $100 or more.

The whole "sportsbook" thing is confusing, with what used to be now, and the actual "" now is really a Euro operation.
