When UL-M beat Arkansas they were down and decided to play to win, not settle for just being close. I just saw Vandy, being down 27 already, on 4th and goal from the 8, kick a (most likely), meaningless field goal with 20 seconds left in the first half. I understand they wanting to get points on the board, but they really aren't playing to win then. I would think teams that are already down 3+ scores, at least while the game still have time left, let it all hang out and try to win, or at least come back. What does it matter if they lose by 25 or 35?
