Women are Angels.
And when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly...
Usually on a broomstick but we're flexible like that

had it 3 years ago. did not have a choice as while getting out of my hot tub something popped in my back and I hit the ground and could not get up. hollered for wife for 30 minutes and she finually got me into house. made to er room and they put me in hospital for 4 days on morphine for pain till I could get doctor to do surgery. funny thing is never had much back pain but for over a year before surgery both of my legs hurt all the way to the bones.
had the surgery and everything went great. doctor said had some nerve damage in left side as had been like that for some time. right now if I stand for more than 5 minutes my left leg goes numb. other than that no pain at all and can walk forever.
did take about a month for me to walk regular again as had to learn how again.

best of luck and hope everything goes okay

Thanks Bulldog for the reply. Unless somebody has actually experienced back pain, they don't know how crippling it can be. Most of my pain in gone and is now numbness. It has been two since out of the hospital and my left foot is always at least partially numb, sometimes worse than others. I guess that is better than pain until the surgery.

Friday, October 5th is my surgery date. Not sure what to expect afterwards, so if you guys don't hear from me over that weekend, you will know why. Hopefully I will just have one or two days of bad pain, that I guess is to be expected.

Everyone I know who has had back surgery has said it was worth every minute of having it done. Along with toothache, back pain is the worst pain there is and surgery does seem to work as a last resort.

Thanks guys for the responses. I am a little afraid of this one, but I really feel it can and will help. He said it was a high success rate with only 1 of 10 people having to come back to have it done again. Oct 5th cannot get here quick enough though. To much time to hurt and continue worrying about it.

bulldog, thanks. I am going to get all my picks and bets in by thursday night. I have no idea how the weekend will be. Probably alot of sleeping and being numb with pain pills. If I can get on here I will.
