Just got out of the hospital. Been there last three days with back problems. I am pretty sure I need surgery. Doc wanted me to stay there tonight and have it done tomorrow or the next day. I told them I need a few a days to talk it over with my wife. I have had share of surgeries. Back surgery scares me the most.
So sorry to hear that. I have no idea what the situation is, or how bad, have you tried a chiropractor? I know some swear by it, (myself included) and others think they're quacks. I have had back issues for years, but nothing TOO major.
I must be gettin' old... I still think baseball is cool.
I have been going to a chiropractor for years. My doctor even says therapay will not fix what I have. He said you need to go in and fix it. He said what they would do is a 90% chance of working. That is pretty goods odds for back surgery. I am probably going to do it, just have to figure out when. They are going to remove some discs. He said it was actually an outpatient surgery, so that is good. I hate staying in hospitals. My wife is worried about me waking up worse or even paralyzed. I don't think I have a choice. There were a couple of days where I could not even stand up let alone walk.
All I did was lay on the floor.
This really sucks at the start of football season too.
Hate to hear all this Markie! As someone that suffers back problems I feel your pain and share the worry of surgery! (Luckily I am not to that point yet) they have come a long way in back procedures and I don't think the risk of waking up worse is anywhere near what it used to be! I wish you well with whatever you decide to do!
