Is the magic back in Philly?

Brewers bullpen is in a shambles after giving up 4 in the 9th on Monday and 6 in the 8th on Tuesday to lose to the Phillies by identical 7-6 scores...

Cliff Lee had another sub-par performance allowing 6 ER in 7+ innings but was rescued by the offense as Manny Parra impldoded by walking 3 and giving up a HR while just recording one out in the 8th...

Phils still find themselves 14 games out of first and around 10 games out of the wild card race but they have to be bolstered by the last 2 comeback wins and now Hamels was signed which took away a big uncertainty for them...

Will be interesting to see if they can mount a serious run down the stretch - if they can they will certainly need Mr. Lee to step his game up to his norm....

They did good! But in my humble opinion I think Oakland has to be considered the come back kids (at least lately) then again I think I have won more games in the last 2 innings this year than I ever have! Some by teams scoring 5 or MORE in the 8th or 9th inning! Wild times this year in MLB

It's about time the once seemingly dormant offense has recently come around. There is still plenty of time to mount a serious challenge at least for one of the NL wilcard spots. It's just a question of being able to leapfrog teams who are currently in more realistic contention. Now that their lineup is healthy and they have Halladay back, it is definitely within the realm of possibility, however I do think Washington is playing too good right now and are showing no signs of relinquishing the NL East lead.
