had memphis -2, over 178, and -1/2 for 2nd half. all bets looked great with 24 seconds to go as memphis had hit 16 out of 17 free throws for night and had ball with 5 point lead with 24 seconds to go. feeling good but no they miss 5 of their last 6 free throws after hitting 16 of 17 and clippers hit a 3 with a few seconds left for memphis to win by 90-88.
instead of winning 3 bets i push game, push total, and lose 2nd half. having trouble winning at anything right now as could not pick a winners with for saturday with sunday's newspaper.
Another tough way for the game to end. Memphis inbounding the ball ahead of the pack as time ran out left virtually no chance to foul. We have expected the unexpected so far in this series.
Game 1 Memphis blows a 24 point lead only to see the Clippers go on a 28-3 eun to win by 1 stunning the Fed Ex crowd.
Game 2 was probably the best all around game played by both teams with Memphis winning 105-98.
Game 3 After a well played first half, Memphis outscores LA 25-14 in the third but LA uses a 13-0 4th quarter spurt to tie it. Trailing 86-80 after two free throws by Paul, Gay hit a 3-pointer with 12.9 seconds left, Memphis' first field goal since 7:10. After Los Angeles missed three of four free throws, Gay hit another 3-pointer with 8.9 seconds to hush the crowd. WIth Memphis trailing by 1 Gay is long on a 3 pointer as time expires. Clippers shoot just 13/30 (43%) and are lucky to grab the series lead.
Game 4 Griffin and Blake lead a charge in OT to give Clippers commanding 3-1 series lead with the game nip and tuck most of the way.
Game 5 Memphis leads after 1 36-22 but teams combine for only 73 second half points. Clippers are charged wth 4 technical fouls, Griffin and Paul suffer significant injuries and Memphis extends their lead to 24 en route to a 92-80 win sending the series back to LA.
Game 6 Bulldog basically broke it down with some extreme hard luck to boot.
If it's any consolation I pushed on the side thanks to Foye's late 3 pointer and also hit over 44.5 in the 4th quarter as well thanks to that shot. It will be interesting to see who wants it the most in game 7 at 1pm EST on Sunday. With all of the crazy events going on so far, almost nothing might surprise me.
