Bad Beats!!

I am guilty of this as much as anybody else, but I find it funny.

People always complain about bad beats. God knows I have had my share. Nobody ever mentions when their team/bets win in the 9th inning. Sure it feels like we have more bad than good, but it would be interesting if we kept track of our records based on 9th inning or later wins and losses.

What do you guys think??

I will be one of the first to say that I endure a lot more bad beats than I do lucky breaks. However they do get advertised and recognized whether they end up in the positive or negative direction and are to the utmost extreme.

You could take your pick last night. I had Florida -1.5 +115 and the game was nip and tuck all the way until extra innings where the Marlins scored 2 in the top of the 12th for the 5-3 win. In contrast the Clippers and Memphis combine for 58 in the first quarter and end up tallying only 114 the rest of the way. A sure over which didn't get close. Also, I easily notched the over 7.5 in the CWS/Cleveland game, a matchup where I also had the over 3.5 first 5 innings. However with the score 8-0 in the bottom of the 7th, I needed the Tribe to not score at all which would have covered my 'zero hit' in my 13 run pool. Currently I sit second needing 0, 10 and 12, but the leader only needs St. Louis to score 1. It all balances out, unless of course you endure one of those Murphy's Law nights or in contrast the 'nothing could go wrong' streaks.

Hahaha yep we all get them... I had a beauty.. Was on Yankees -1.5 against BOS they was down 1-9 then in the 8th and 9th Yankees pumped 7 runs each innings winning 15-9, I was cheering, then again Yankees did these a couple of times last year, lossing then pull a magical dig out to win,

I've had a string of bad luck about a week ago where I got pumped everyday. It all part of this roller coaster ride we take :)

It's only a matter of time where we will see multi run walkoff homers in the bottom of the 9th and in extra innings that will turn a seemingly no-win situation -1.5 into some much needed luck late. As the summer approaches so will the extended offense.
