I cannot remember how long it has been since I have discovered these gambling forums, but do you guys remember the first forum you discovered, whether it is still here or no longer exists.

Do you guys remember MG Sports Gambling forum? That was my first ever forum and got me started with the rest. It no longer exists. I wonder what happened that they no longer have it. It has been years since I have seen it.

Would love to hear more from you guys on this.

It was sbrforum, some great tips there was, still going strong I recognize. The niche is quite narrow so not all will make it after years, they could simple closed it down.

Mine was FreeWinners! At least that was the very first one I was ever active on. I was the 1000th person to join the forum and one of the very few active females! That was approximately 12 years ago :) gosh I'm getting old lol FYI: I am still a member of the original FW's fantasy bases and foots league even though the site no longer exists!

I was from freewinners as well. The forum started way back in late 2000 and a select original few remain even posting at BTB. Lasted for about 5 years and was one of the first that saw quite a large number of members. Forumville has come a long way since then, and with the up to date features, technology, graphics, staff of cappers and perks we have going here, it's one of the few opportunities for new and existing members to take advantage which separates us as unique from the rest.

Freewinners as well.....that was back pre kids for me so posted all the time and bet on way too many games....do you freewinners guys remember some of the jackoffs that just constantly bashed others picks but would post their picks like halfway through the game? I remember that is why most of us moved over to the other side....

Hey finance,

I am a total lurker now. I don't make my own picks anymore. 2 reasons no time to research and I am an emotonal gambler so I tend to bet with my heart versus head....so now i follow the forum guys and try to hop on the hot trends. Will try to post more on general threads going fwd.

Another reason most moved was eventually the site just wasn't as well maintained due to unfortunate circumstances experienced by the founder and moderators. For a good 5 years the site featured contests and bonuses in related to signing up with bookmaker, but there were quite a select few that unforuntately caused problems for the honest and loyal who eventually just jumped ship. Site maintenance and progress is second to none here at BTB, and as Finance mentioned you won't find any of the drama or BS that other forums somehow seem to tolerate blindly hurting their reputation. The family oriented atmosphere here keeps those who are here for the long haul coming back. While word gets around about us to outside handicappers from contacts here it only increases traffic and continues the expansion rate at the forum.
