WHAT A GREAT FINISH AT OKC

By far the best game of the day. Nip and tuck all the way with neither team leading by more than 8. Durant's 18 foot jumper from the left wing reminded me of the Knicks' Allan Houston shooting up a last second jumper against Miami in game 5 from 1999. Front rim backboard and in. Back then the Knicks were only the second 8th seed to knock off a #1 seed. While the stakes and circumstances were nowhere near as significant nor similar, credit to Dallas for competing the way they did. While Shawn Marion didn't have much of an opportunity to shoot the ball, you still have to know the situation and attempt a heave considering teams practice this all the time. Perhaps this series could be a lot more closely contested than most anticipated, considering until dethroned they are still the defending champions.

Orlando's win was exciting for the team, but at the same time if you watched the second half was like pulling teeth. 63 second half points combined? I was falling asleep. Perhaps Indiana's 3rd seed in the East isn't as advertised unless they step things up in game 2.
