Doc said it can really happen to anyone just with aging. But he also had lasicks 2 months ago and one of the nurses didnt do her job and didnt check a valve during the procedure the liquid rushed in and he was blind in the same eye for about 2 weeks so that could have led to it as well. Doc said he wasnt sure.... To repair it they basically put an air bubble in his eye and he had to sit leaning forward and to the left for 2 days. He had to sleep funny to. Not sure how he did it.. Then after this pushed the retina together a specialist went in and lasers it back together. The laser seemed to hurt pretty bad as I have never seen my dad in pain before. Hes the kinda of guy who will get a tooth pulled or cavity filled without Novocain.
I must admit it sounds very painful I hope he is doing much better!
And when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly...
Usually on a broomstick but we're flexible like that
Wow that sounds really painful. Hope your day feels better and recovers soon.
