Anyone think my Lakers make a move?

Soo much talk lately about them trading Pau. Rumors were last week that there may be a trade today, on the 1st, but again, just rumors.

I don't know if I want to get rid of him. Obviously, if they could get Howard for Bynum and a pick or something, they should do it, but I'm not sure that's happening.

They need help at the PG spot in the worst way. Would love to see Kobe get one more ring before he retires. He's got maybe 3 or 4 good years left, that's it.

I must be gettin' old... I still think baseball is cool.

Howard to the Nets. Feels a bit different rooting for the Nets living here in Florida now. Been a long time ticket holder while I was there and would love to see them get back to their winning ways.

So basically I dont care about the Lakers. lol

But spring practice is starting soon for the Trojans, right?

I think they'd be crazy to get rid of Gasol at this point especially with the numbers he puts up, the ability to score up close and penetrate using the mid range jumper complemented by his height and intensity to body underneath. Also a pretty good defender and rebounder. They've survived in the thick of the Pacific conference race this long, and there's really no need to break up the chemistry at such a high profile position.

Latest talk out of rumorville is that the Lakers have an undesirable decision to make amongst Ramon Sessions, Gilbert Arenas and staying the course with the rabble they have. Recent movement on the Cavaliers front makes it crucial the Lakers pull the trigger now. Derek Fisher is increasingly geriatric, Steve Blake is banged up and a couple of rookies are getting used far more than should be comfortable to a presumed contender. The team has found it hard to score this year, and a good portion of that stems from the point guard position.

Sessions would not carry a scoring load on his own, scoring just 9.1 points per game and shooting 34 percent from the field. He does run the pick-and-roll effectively and would be a guard that could run the floor and distribute better than prospects like Andrew Goudelock.

Howard to the Nets would be great Marc. Well, not for me, and that's what really matters. :)

JTR, I agree at this point. They need to make a move for a PG, I really don't care for the idea of gutting the team for Howard. Bynum is young, and getting better. He's injury prone, but so far so good this year.
Fisher owes Jesus a quarter. I love him, but it's over with. When they ran the triangle, there wasn't a need for a true point. Now, they're more conventional, and need it. Defense is better under Brown, but the offense is deplorable. I'm not big on Sessions, but if they can get him for the right price, I'd take the flyer and see if he helps. I want no part of Arenas. Cancer, IMO. We've already got a gunner in Kobe, don't need that guy and his baggage as well.

I dont think the Lakers make any moves unless its dumping Gasols salary for a bunch of expiring contracts etc..
