Gronkowski impact

Saw on the ESPN scroll last night that in simulations with Gronkowski the Pats win somewhere around 61% of the time and without him it drops to around 51%...that seems like a huge difference to me..also heard from a "vegas insider" dude on the radio that normally a player like him would be worth 1/2 a point in a normal spread (not right around 3)....

Everyone has been saying he's going to play, but boy that just seems like a big impact from a missing tight end...obviously he's been a monster but wow....

problem to me is that if you liked the Giants it seems like the value has been taken away losing the 3.5 and having to pay extra juice for +3....

I guess the assumption is that he's going to play....the Pats have always played the injury thing pretty close to the vest anyway....

I am not sure what to expect from him but I heard a good comparision to Dwight Freeny back in the superbowl. He had same injury and played well first half. But with a long halftime the adrenaline fades, pain meds no longer help and the production crashes. I bet thats what we see

Agree with Ryan. There's good likelyhood Gronk won't be 100%. Not sold on Pats defense either.

Taking Giants ml. This is coinflip game at worst. Line should be PK.
