thursday play...

didn't think it was going to happen, but i am now officially in the red ytd. very frustrating. today's play is a no brainer, so it will probably lose too.

ytd 40-40 -3.31 units

62 Winnipeg-120 3 units
the jets are at home. where they are tied for the eastern conference lead in home wins. they are coming off of a road win vs colorado 4-1. the avs seemed to be unstoppable at home before the jets ended their winning streak.
the kings are 3-0-1 since they made a coaching change. they added to their red hot run with a 2-0 road win in chicago last time out. however that game was LAST NIGHT. they are playing back to back games, having to travel from chicago to winnipeg. also, mike quick was a workhorse to complete the shutout, having to stop 38 shots by the blackhawks.
i see the kings bringing their tired legs into an arena that is already difficult to play in. the jets have been solid defensively all season. the jets could return the favor with a shutout of their own.

this is a 4-5 unit play. however i am only playing it as a 3 primarily because of the cold run that i am on and the fact that nothing seems to be playing out on the ice the way the numbers and trends indicate that it should. GOOD LUCK!
