Bookies Battle the Points Spread, week #14

Josh Pool of the Palace Station had the best week with an amazing 12-3 record. (remember, these bookies make their selections Sunday Night before the Sunday Nighter is final and before all the injuries are fully disclosed). There was a Bit of a shake up in the leaders after week 13. Cavin Kishi slipped to 3rd place as Joe Porrello of the Cannery jumps into the lead after a 10-5 week 13!

Here are your leaders (3 bookies are right behind these 3 with a 105-86 record):

Joe Porrello-Cannery last week 10 – 5, overall 110 – 81; PIT IND HOU OAK KC MIN TEN MIA WAS CAR JAC ARI DEN BUF NYG SEA and Best Bet DEN

Jack Frost-Harrahs’s last week 7 – 8, overall 109 – 82; CLE IND CIN OAK NYJ DET MIA NE CAR JAC SF DEN BUF NYG SEA and Best bet SEA

Cavin Kishi-Monte Carlo last week 7 – 8, overall 109 – 82; PIT BAL HOU GB KC MIN NO MIA NE ATL TB SF CHI SD NYG SEA and Best Bet SF

CONSENSUS last week 10 – 6, overall 101 – 91; PIT IND CIN GB NYJ MIN TEN MIA NE CAR JAC SF DEN SD NYG S EA and the Best Consensus play is the Jags with 5 bookies making it their Best Selection.

There are no discernable differences between the top bookies and the consensus this week, but we do have some line moves to consider. The bookies picked the NY Jets game at –8.5, and that line has moved to –10.5; They picked the Lions game at –7.5, and that has moved to 10.5 now; the Saints game was picked at Saints-5.5,and that line has moved to –3.5; Bucs game was picked at –6.5 and has now moved to –3;Chargers game was picked at –4.5, and it’s now at –7; Seahawks game was picked at –5.5 and has moved to –10.

Finally this week, top consensus pick is the Seattle Seahawks with 42 bookies picking the Seahawks this week.
