COLTS +20 1/2!? LARGEST NFL SPREAD I'VE SEEN IN YEARS

The Colts are in shambles, but with a 1/2 buy that's (3) TD's in the NFL!

On November 25, 2007 the record was set for the largest point spread in regular season NFL history, New England -24 / Philadelphia. The Patriots won the game 31-28 & did NOT cover.

The previous record was in 1993, San Francisco -23 / Cincinnati. San Francisco won 21-8 & did NOT cover.

I'm thinking of laying a little out on the Colts tonight. Any opinions?

That's good knowledge of NFL history. Correct me if I am wrong but AFAIK the Indianapolis Colts are the only underdog in NFL history to NOT cover a 20+ point spread. They lost two games ATS at Buffalo in 1991 and 1992 as a 20 point dog in each game.

NFL 2011: 35-18-2 = 66%
NFL 2012 2-4-2

That's even better knowledge of NFL history that I wasn't aware of. I generally don't bet against Brady, Brees, or Rodgers, but in this case I'm going to buy the 1/2 point & take a shot on the 3 TD head start.

I also like the St. Louis Rams as 2 TD underdogs & the Lions as 8 1/2 point underdogs (the Lions have the 4th ranked offense in the league & are averaging nearly 30 PPG). Shaping up to be an interesting day.
