UNBELIEVABLE

This gives a new meaning to bedlam! What a shakeup. This puts teams like Alabama, Oregon and Oklahoma back in the National Championship picture!

JTG I have given up on thinking anything is unbelievable anymore .... This Sports year has sure had it's share of shockers both on the field and off the field... From Sex Scandals, to lockouts, to Seasons canceled, to unbeaten teams getting knocked off at the weirdest times and often by much lesser talented teams. All I can say is WHAT A YEAR!!

Any I don't want to say this too loudly but I am still worried about LSU. I mean Ole Miss, Arkansas, Possibly Georgia, I mean any of the three could potentially kill our undefeated season. Ole Miss has nothing to lose and Ark and Georgia are not exactly slouch teams....

It's going to be a fun few weeks ahead to see the outcome !!!

Kirk Herbstreit brought up a very interesting point during the post game of the Iowa State upset over Oklahoma St. He basically questioned which rematch the public would like to see for the BCS Championship game. An LSU Alabama rematch, which we saw result in two greatly respected defenses outshine subpar QB play that despite all the hype makes for a relatively dull game.

On the other hand, we already saw in the season opener that Oregon can score on LSU if these two teams were to meet again for all the marbles. Oregon has a much more impressive win than any of Alabama's. Oregon's speed, talent and ability to mix up the offenses behind Thomas and James could make for a more interesting and challenging contest with LSU.

That being said, I can assure you this. LSU will not make the mistake of looking ahead as OSU did tonight. OSU has a rematch wih Oklahoma in 2 weeks that now has lost a ton of its luster despite the interstate rivalry. Oklahoma does still have an outside increased chance of making the title game themselves. I expect LSU to destroy Ole Miss early and often dominating both sides of the ball tomorrow night.

i'd like to see oklahoma raise the roof on the cowboys and just trample them...that way it'll make this whole thing even more complicated.

Good luck.

I think LSU's defense is the difference maker vs anybody.....even Oregon (again). They have a rough road having to play their conference championship game and then if they win the championship game. If they run the table there is no doubt who the champion will be. I have always liked LSU (I am a pitt fan)...stop laughing.

Absolute craziness! There's always one or two inexplicable upsets in a typical NCAAF season, but I couldn't agree more that this season is off the chain... What was the moneyline on this one, +2000!?

It is absolutely nuts....although to me what it does is hurt Oklahoma the most since I thought they were going to beat Ok State anyway...honestly I don't have a good argument against the Bama rematch...I've said all along they were the best 2 teams....
