The college football world is excited about the Monday Night affair between the Miami Hurricanes and the Louisville Cardinals. This is a rematch of a bowl game from a season ago when the Cardinals put the smack down on the Hurricanes.
Louisville will look to replace quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and former head coach Charlie Strong. Bridgewater threw for 3,500 yards and 28 touchdowns a season ago. In at quarterback this season will be Will Gardner, who is a redshirt sophomore. The passing game will be slowed a bit, but should still be effective. At the running back position for the Cardinals will be Dominque Brown and Michael Dyer.
The Hurricanes will miss Stephen Morris, the quarterback of a season ago. Morris led the offense to 21 passing touchdowns a season ago. Now, the Hurricanes are turning to true freshman Brad Kaaya to be the play caller. The Hurricanes tight end Clive Walford is expected to have a big season, especially deep in the red zone.
