Stephen Nover Free MLB Wednesday Play

NY Yankees vs. NY Mets, 05/14/2014 19:10
Total: -115/+6½ Over

These two teams just put up a combined 35 runs during the first two games of this series. Granted, those games were at Yankee Stadium with a DH and Masahiro Tanaka wasn't one of the starting pitchers.

But it's safe to say both teams are swinging hot bats. Tanaka sure looks like the real thing since coming over from Japan, but it's still only mid-May and Mets starter, rookie Rafael Montero, is totally untested on the big league level as he makes his first major league start.

Given the vulnerabilities of the bullpen, I think this total is just too low.

Weather won't be a factor and home plate umpire Mike DiMuro is neutral when it comes to over/unders. So it really comes down to each team putting up three runs apiece, which I see happening.

Stephen has won four of his last five paid/free MLB plays and has also won four of his last five NBA plays. Stephen is 30-20-2 on his past 52 paid/free NBA plays and has his signature 100-Dimer going today in the NBA. This is Stephen's strongest rated play with a lifetime success rate of above 70 percent.
