SPOOKY AND PLEINER10 MADNESS HEADLINE UNBEATEN FRIDAYS!!

Mr. March madness himself Marc 'SPOOKY' sweeps the Friday night tournament board by going 5-0 crushing the books with 4 successful sides and a total! Not to mention Pleiner who picked up 250 stars by sweeping his Friday board by going 3 for 3! Here's how the two paled in comparison combining to go a perfect 8 for 8!

Spooky stated it off with Baylor (-5) and with despite an inflated line the Bears had no trouble cruising past the Nebraska Cornhuskers 74-60 thanks to 16 points from Cory Jefferson and a couple of controversial calls that got Tim Miles ejected. Next up was Stanford (+4) who pulled off an outright upset over New Mexico 58-53 behind 23 points from Chasson Randle and a defense that limited the Lobos to just 37% shooting from the floor. Another outright upset in Spooky's arsenal featured Gonzaga (+4) who ousted Oklahoma St 85-77 thanks to 26 points from Kevin Pangos and 50% shooting from the field. Spooky then turned his attention to the over 141 in the Providence/North Carolina matchup in which the Tar Heels nipped the Friars 79-77 thanks to 2 crucial free throws sunk by James Michael McAdoo. Spooky finished off his perfect evening by exercising some late steam on UCLA (-8) who terrorized Tulsa 76-59 behind 21 points from Jordan Adams.

Pleiner10 like Spooky hit big with Baylor earlier in the day and then grabbed 13 points with the 14th seeded Mercer Bears who dumped Duke 78-71. Mercer shot 56% overall against the Blue Devils fueled by Jakob Gollon's 21 points and some clutch free throw shooting down the stretch. Paul then turned to the most successful team in the nation as unbeaten Wichita St won their 35th straight game without a loss by crushing Cal Poly 64-37 thanks to Cleanthony Early's 23 points and a defense that stymied the 14-20 Mustangs to just 21% shooting from the field.

Great job by 2 cappers who will look to continue the momentum right into the weekend during round 3! Awesome job!
