Point Spread: -9/-105 Oklahoma City
The Knicks are one of the worst teams in the league this year, and they are facing one of the best teams in the league when they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder are coming into this game averaging 105.7 points per game. They should have no problem getting points on the board against a Knicks defense that has given up an average of 101.2 points per game at home. New York has been a terrible team to back against the spread, posting a 3-11 ATS record in home games.
The Thunder have a solid defense that has held opponents to 98.6 points per game. They catch a big break against this Knicks team that averages a mere 95 points per game. The Thunder are coming off a tough loss to Toronto in their last outing, and with plenty of time to rest I expect them to get right back to their winning ways in this matchup. They have no reason to look past the Knicks since they will get a day of rest before facing the Charlotte Bobcats on the 27th. This is a small number for the best team in basketball to be laying against an opponent with a 9-18 record on the season. I expect the Thunder to take this game by a double-digit margin.
