Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Chykie Brown's 65-yard interception return for a touchdown gave the Baltimore Ravens a lead they would not relinquish in their 21-7 preseason-concluding victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Hunter Cantwell took the majority of the snaps for the Ravens, completing 13- of-28 passes for 111 yards and an interception. Damien Berry capped the scoring with a five-yard, fourth-quarter touchdown run and Billy Cundiff hit 2-of-3 field goal attempts for Baltimore, which opens the regular season on September 11, with a home tilt against Pittsburgh.

Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - Thaddeus Lewis completed 12-of-15 passes for 164 yards and starter Sam Bradford threw for 133 yards and a touchdown on 7-of-11 passing to lead the St.Louis Rams to a 24-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the final preseason tuneup for both teams. First-round draft pick and Missouri standout Blaine Gabbert completed nine of his 18 passes for 132 yards for the Jaguars.

Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Matt Moore completed 9-of-11 passes for 142 yards, including an 18-yard score to Jeron Mastrud in the third quarter, helping Miami cap its preseason with a 17-3 win over Dallas. The Dolphins, who sat starting QB Chad Henne, will host New England on Monday night, September 12 to begin the season. The Cowboys didn't play Tony Romo for the preseason finale.

Foxboro, MA (Sports Network) - The New York Giants closed out the preseason in comeback fashion, rallying to beat the New England Patriots, 18-17, at Gillette Stadium. Down by 14 points, Da'Rel Scott opened the fourth quarter by rumbling 65 yards on a fake punt to trim New York's deficit to 17-10. Later in the stanza, Derrick Martin recovered a Richard Medlin fumble and scored on an 11-yard return. A successful two-point conversion put the Giants by one with 9:40 remaining.

East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - The Eagles closed out the preseason with a 24-14 victory over the Jets on Thursday night, but also watched Vince Young hobble off the field with a right hamstring injury. Third-stringer Mike Kafka played the second half and threw for 76 yards and an interception on 7- of-11 passing. With Mark Sanchez sitting out, Greg McElroy started for the Jets and was just 3-for-6 for 29 yards.

Landover, MD (Sports Network) - John Beck's uninspiring performance has left more questions than answers in the Washington quarterback competition. Beck finished just 10-of-21 for 108 yards and an interception, leaving head coach Mike Shanahan with a big decision to make before the Redskins open the season next Sunday against the Giants. Shanahan will choose either Beck or veteran Rex Grossman to start under center. The Buccaneers' main offensive stars, quarterback Josh Freeman and running back LeGarrette Blount, both sat out the preseason finale.

Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - Ben Roethlisberger wore a baseball cap. Rashard Mendenhall, Hines Ward and most of the Steelers starters joined him. Jonathan Dwyer did his best to keep the wins, albeit of a preseason variety, coming. Dwyer busted off a 50-yard touchdown run as part of an 88-yard effort, leading Pittsburgh to a 33-17 victory over Carolina in the preseason finale for both teams. Charlie Batch completed 6-of-8 passes for 59 yards in a starting role, while Dennis Dixon, who also has experience filling in for Roethlisberger, finished 11-of-22 for 157 yards and a touchdown. Cam Newton played sparingly for the Panthers, finishing 3-of-5 for 25 yards and a 10- yard touchdown pass to Jeremy Shockey. The rookie was named the team's starting quarterback for the season opener against Arizona.

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Robert Hughes tallied 69 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns as Chicago topped Cleveland, 24-14, in the final preseason tuneup for both clubs at Soldier Field. Caleb Hanie finished 7-of-10 for 83 yards and a TD pass to Johnny Knox for the Bears, who begin their regular season on September 11 by hosting Atlanta. Jarrett Brown totaled 92 yards, one score and an interception on 10-of-15 efficiency for the Browns, who also open up two Sundays from now at home against rival Cincinnati.

Green Bay, WI (Sports Network) - Vic So'oto picked off a Tyler Palko pass and returned it 33 yards for a go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter, lifting the Green Bay Packers past the Kansas City Chiefs, 20-19, in the final preseason tuneup for both teams. Aaron Rodgers threw an eight-yard touchdown pass to Tom Crabtree in his only series for the Packers, who open the NFL schedule next Thursday when they host the New Orleans Saints in a battle of the last two Super Bowl champions. Matt Cassel played extended minutes and exited after taking a big hit by Packers defensive lineman Howard Green late in the second quarter.

Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Caleb King ran for 62 yards and two scores in the Minnesota Vikings' 28-0 preseason-concluding victory over the Houston Texans. Matt Leinart took the majority of the snaps for the Texans, completing 13- of-16 passed for 145 yards. T.J. Yates threw for 77 yards and an interception on 6-of-13 passing.

New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - Backup signal-caller and former Washington Husky Jake Locker completed 15 of his 17 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown to lead the Tennessee Titans to a 32-9 thumping of the New Orleans Saints in the final preseason game for both sides. New starting quarterback and former Seattle Seahawk Matt Hasselbeck threw for 37 yards on 2-of-5 passing before exiting the game. Sean Cranfield completed 29 of his 39 throws for 249 yards, one touchdown and two picks for the Saints. Starter Drew Brees did not see any action.

San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - Alex Smith was an efficient 8-of-10 in his last action before the regular season and Anthony Dixon ran for 45 yards and two scores, as San Francisco closed out the preseason with a 20-17 victory over San Diego. Josh McCown was a perfect 4-of-4 for 51 yards for San Francisco, which posted an early 14-0 lead behind two Dixon one-yard touchdown runs. Philip Rivers did not play for San Diego, but starting running back Ryan Mathews did, busting off a 56-yard jaunt to paydirt as part of a 78-yard effort.

Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Richard Bartel passed for 216 yards and two touchdowns and the Arizona Cardinals rolled to a 26-7 win over the Denver Broncos on Thursday in the preseason finale. Denver scored its only points of the game on Tim Tebow's 43-yard touchdown pass to Eron Riley in the fourth quarter. Starter Kevin Kolb threw two passes for the Cardinals, giving way to the backups early on. Bartel went 12-for-16 and also threw an interception, while Brodie Croyle was 10-of-16 for 104 yards. Brady Quinn struggled, going 4-of-12 for 26 yards for Denver, while Adam Weber completed an 89-yard pass to Riley in the final minute for Denver.
