The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue a nightmare season in week seven of the NFL as they head to Atlanta to face an angry flock of birds in the form of the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons have lost games that they should of won in the past and now they are dealing with a slew of injuries as some of their best payers are out for the entire season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons Odds
The NFL betting line for this game opened up with the Falcons as (-7) point favorites. Despite the ugly loss to the New York Jets before going on a bye week, the betting public is not ready to get on board with the lowly Buccaneers. The football betting consensus shows that 54 percent of the public is on the Dirty Birds and that was enough to move this line. The current line can be found at (-7.5) at several of the top rated online sportsbooks.
Matt Ryan should be licking his lips to face the Buccaneers defense that has made opposing signal callers look good this season. Nick Foles posted an 89.8 Total QBR against the Buccaneers, his highest Total QBR in any of his 7 career starts. Foles 2nd-half Total QBR of 99.95 (6-of-7 passing, 145 yards, 2 TD), trails only Cam Newton in Week 3 for the highest Total QBR (99.99) in a 2nd half this season. If the Bucs are not ready for this game the Falcons can get back in the win column.
