The Monday night football game for week six in the National Football League features two teams that are off to a very surprising start to the season. Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts are off a huge win over the Seattle Seahawks and they are making a case for being one of the better teams in the league. The San Diego Chargers host this game, and although they are off a loss to the Oakland Raiders, they have played much better than that have in years past.
Indianapolis Colts at San Diego Chargers Odds
The NFL betting line for this game opened up with the Colts listed as small favorites and could even be found with the line being posted as a pick em’, depending on what sportsbook you have. After the Bolts lost to the Raiders and the Colts beat the Seahawks, the public came in on the Colts and they came in hard at over 80 percent of the early betting action. This has caused the line to move and it now can be found as high as (-2) at several of the top rated online sportsbooks.
The Colts are still doing well due to the play at quarterback. Andrew Luck posted an 80.4 Total QBR Sunday and leads all 2nd-year starting quarterbacks with a 68.1 Total QBR since the start of last season. Luck set himself apart from the other 2nd-year standouts with his 9th career game-winning drive in the 4th quarter or overtime, tied for the most in a player's first 2 seasons in the Super Bowl era. Now he will have to make sure that his team can avoid the letdown when they head to the west coast to play the Chargers and the revamped Phillip Rivers.
