- The South Florida Bulls are have just a 20 percent conversion rate on third downs. Only Florida International and Miami (OH) are worse. The Bulls are 19-point home dogs with the Miami Hurricanes in town.

I also post some picks from around the internet to include these great picks from Phil Steele

No. 6 LSU Tigers at No. 9 Georgia Bulldogs
Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET

This marks the first meeting between these teams since the 2011 SEC title game, which LSU won 42-10 en route to an appearance in the BCS national championship game, which it lost to Alabama. While the final score indicated a blowout, keep in mind that Georgia dominated early -- holding LSU to zero first downs in the first half -- until former Tiger Tyrann Mathieu's 62-yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter changed the momentum.

The Tigers come in a perfect 4-0, fresh off last week's 35-21 win over Auburn. After serving an early-season suspension, running back Jeremy Hill looks like he is back to last season's form as he ran for a career-high 183 yards and three touchdowns in Week 4.

After their season-opening loss to Clemson, the Bulldogs have picked up back-to-back victories, including an all-important win over SEC East rival South Carolina, which put them in the driver's seat for a third straight SEC championship game appearance.

Both teams have been impressive. LSU is outgaining opponents by 170 yards per game, and Georgia is outgaining foes by 185 yards per game. The difference is that the Bulldogs have played two top-15 teams while LSU has yet to play a legit top-20 team. This one figures to go down to the wire, and I like the fact that Aaron Murray finally got the monkey off his back a few weeks ago by playing well in a win over a top-15 opponent.

Pick: Georgia 33, LSU 30

Mississippi Rebels at Alabama Crimson Tide (-14, 55)

The Rebels are after their first 4-0 start since 1970, but haven't beaten Alabama since 2003 and have only one victory in 25 trips to Tuscaloosa, Ala. he Rebels also have an explosive star in running back Jeff Scott, who set career highs in rushing yards (164) and all-purpose yards (243) against Texas.

The Crimson Tide's offense has been inconsistent and struggled to get going in last week's win over Colorado State. The defense has not been as dominant as in years past, but Vinnie Sunseri has a pair of interception returns for touchdowns to contribute to five non-offensive touchdowns in three games.

LINE: Alabama opened -16.5 and has moved to -14. Total movef from 56.5 to 55.
WEATHER: Temperatures in mid 70s, clear skies, winds east 4 mph.
TRENDS:

* Rebels are 6-2 ATS in their last eight meetings.
* Underdog is 6-2 ATS in their last eight meetings.
* Road team is 5-0 ATS in their last five meetings.

Central Michigan Chippewas at North Carolina State Wolfpack (-23)
ATS pick: North Carolina State

Stay aggressive when it comes to this sinking Central Michigan team. The Chips were already scheduled for a losing campaign, but the season turned sour early with serious injuries to bell cow rusher Zurlon Tipton and quarterback Cody Kater, followed by a blown three-touchdown lead in a loss at UNLV. This team hasn't covered a game yet this year, and it should be at least another week, as there's nothing favorable about a long road trip to step up in class against a coaching staff that knows Central well (from Wolfpack coach Dave Doeren's time at Northern Illinois).

Score: North Carolina State 49, Central Michigan 0

- The West Virginia Mountaineers had six turnovers last week versus Maryland and are averaging 3.7 giveaways per game. Only Hawaii, Southern Mississippi and Western Kentucky are worse.
