Costellano won the riding title, but Rosario was out the last 2 weeks with an injury. Once that happened everthing at the Spa changes. Owners, trainers changing riders left and right. I did not meet too many people who killed it at the track, but I am sure there were some out there.
Huge stakes races tmrw at the Belmont meet. Last big day of racing before the Breeders Cup in Santa Anita on November 1 & 2. Always a fun day, Breeders Cup. BOMBS galore if you can hit em.
Race 5 to me it is a two horse race Royal Delta/Princess of Salymar. Prep race for Breeders Cup day, but I expect them both to run well.
Race 6 Graydar looks tough, but I am going against him after a 6 month lay-off he comes back to race before the Breeders Cup. I think this is major Prep for him. I could be wrong, but money wise I bet against him. I am taking a chance with Hymn Book and Johnny V on board.
Race 7 Toughest Race on the card to handicap. Justin Phillip is a darn good horse. I will be using him in Exacta wagers. not sure if he wins it.
Race 8 laughing is the horse of the day for me. Should win. I will use Laughing and Somali Lemonade exacta. I using the SL for value. If this horse can run back to form it has a good chance.
Race 9 Big Blue Kitten will be favorite. I like Little Mike, but pay attention. I heard someplace that Little Mike may not run. Watch the board. Not a great race to bet ODDS wise.
Race 10 $1,000,000 JockeysClub Gold Cup. Hammer Palice Malice and you may get good odds. Palice Malice had a horrible start in the Travers. Stumbled at the gate, actually hit his nose to the dirt and it was over from there. This horse will win. ORB is a good horse, he has not won in 3 starts, but that is not the horses fault, the others 3 year olds have matured and are just better. If you followed my picks you remember, I liked WILL TAKE CHARGE for a while now and it has taken a long time for this horse to grow into his frame of 18 hands, he is now 2-2 the past 2 races and the 2nd in the Jim Dandy. Took a while for this horse to have the muscle to hold control his size.
Palice Malice wins!!!!!
Race 11 These is a horse in this race given to me by a good horse handicapper. Very good horse person. I will pass it on and use it in exotics, but I do not know much about it to lay it all to win.
ECHLUATH Jockey is Irad Ortiz. Trainer is Thomas Bush
Came in 2nd last time out at Saratoga Labor Day weekend. Looks as if that race may have been educational for him and a good strengthening for him.
