If you are a big fan of the quarterback position than the game between the Denver Broncos and the New York Giants is the game for you. In a brother versus brother matchup Peyton Manning and Eli Manning will showcase their skills in what should be one of the most exciting games on the week 2 NFL schedule. The winner will most certainly have bragging rights within the family.
Denver Broncos at New York Giants Odds
After a big performance in the opener and some extra rest, the Denver Broncos opened up as (-6.5) point favorites in this contest. That line has dropped to (-4.5) at several of the top rated sportsbooks even though the Broncos are attracting 73 percent of the early betting public action from the public.
Peyton Manning stole the show in week one as he single handedly demolished the Baltimore Ravens defense. Manning spread the ball throughout the offense using all of his weapons as he put up seven touchdowns on the night. This is a good sign of things to come for a team that is picked as a favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. Although he did not match his brothers output of seven touchdowns, Eli Manning also had a very good showing in the first game of the year.
Eli, however is not as happy as Peyton because unlike the Broncos, the Giants have yet to get a victory. The Giants played a sloppy game, turning the ball over six times in the loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
The football betting trends for this game reveal some interesting betting angles leading up to kickoff. The Broncos are 5-0 against the spread (ATS) in their last 5 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game, 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games against a team with a losing home record and 5-1 ATS in the last six games overall.
The Giants are 10-4-1 ATS against a team with a winning record, 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game and 9-4 ATS in the last 13 games in week two.
The Giants are eager to get their first win of the season, but it won’t be easy against the Broncos and Peyton Manning. This sibling rivalry will be raised to new heights as both brothers face off in what could easily be dubbed the game of the week.
