When I wrote about the Kentucky Derby I always said it was a crap shoot and any horse in a 20 horse field could win it, then throw in the slop and it gets worse. HUGE pay outs in the Derby.
Then I wrote about the Preakness Stakes and had the one horse I really wanted in the exotics come through, but I was banking on the favorite (ORB) to do his thing and he did not. If the race was just a little longer he would have been there. I also said that high pay outs never happen in that race and then they have the 3rd hight triple ever. What can you do! We managed to get the exacta with ALL over ITSMYLUCKYDAY.
Now here comes the test of Champions. 1.5 miles of monsterous dirt and wide sweeping turns for the final leg of the triple crown. I have a few horses in mind already that I think will set up very well for this race and I wont be thinking out of the box on this either. With two different winners of the prevoius races there is no clear cut favorite which means your odds of making money are pretty good. Post time favorite may be 3-1 or 5-2. I do not think you will see a 2-1 favorite. You may also get a good price a 10-1 shot that has a legit chance of winning.
A horse I wrote about 2 months ago to watch ran this past Saturday, Rydiluc and he won. I was out of range for internet service or I would have told everyone on the site he was running. He only paid $5.60 to win, but a win is win.
Talk about the Belmont Stakes later this week..............
