Rams rookie lineman weighs in at 403 pounds
By Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com

You might remember Terrell Brown from this nationally televised YouTube moment in 2011. The chair didn't stand a chance.

Now the Ole Miss product is making headlines again. After signing with the Rams as an undrafted free agent, Brown weighed in at 400-plus pounds. In college, he was listed at 6-10, 385.

“Actually, we weighed him in at 403,” Rams coach Jeff Fisher said. “We had him in for the tryout, and he had some issues that we had to clear up from a physical standpoint. He got them put behind him. We worked him out on both sides of the ball -- defensive line, offensive line -- and we felt like his best position would be right tackle. ‘Bou' [Offensive line coach Paul T. Boudreau] said he'd love to have him. He's gone this far. He got through practice. He's a defensive lineman that we've converted over to offensive line. We just have to get the camera, the tape from the top of the tower. He might be able to block some kicks.”

Brown played in two games on the Rebels' offensive line last season and eight games in 2011 as a defensive tackle. He's a long shot to make the Rams.

But if he does, he'd easily make the list of heaviest NFL players ever. The top spot belongs to Aaron Gibson, an offensive tackle who played for the Lions, Cowboys and Bears 1999-2004. He once weighed in at 410 pounds.
