Well Tiger/Ranger game was postponed for tonight so like a couple more for the afternoon. Think I do better being more selective than posting a bunch of games.

Like the Jets game and think it should be high scoring. So will let you pick which side or total you want to roll with.

NFL

JETS +8 or OVER 50 POINTS

hmmm

This weekend has been tough especially yesterday, any thoughts for SNF? Green Bay can afford a loss and a Falcons win woud boost moral. A very likely senario, Falcons gain early lead and then comes back and Green Bay wins but does not cover.

Falcons +6

Whats up mayday? Today was just an awesome day. Even have a chance to win our weekly NFL contest with a 6-0 day if we get a high scoring game tonight.

I like the Over and really undecided on the side. Good Luck and lets hope for the game to be OVER LIKE ROVER!!!

Monday's six-pack

-- Last time Florida-Florida State-Miami were all unranked in the college football top 25 was December 6, 1982.

-- Devils got shut out in their season opener Saturday, first time in their history they got blanked on Opening Night..........Ottawa Senators lost their first two games, but scored eight goals, all in the third period.

-- Brewers beat St Louis 9-6, moving to 17-0 at Miller Park this year in games started by Zach Greinke.

-- Winner of Game 1 has won 16 of the last 19 NLCS.

-- Bryce Molder won the PGA Tour event in San Jose; he is 29th first-time winner on Tour since last time Eldrick Woods won a tournament.

-- Nine different Pro Football Hall of Famers had Al Davis introduce them at their induction ceremony in Canton. Quite an honor.

Monday's List of 13: Wrapping up an NFL Sunday........

13) You cannot turn the ball over in the NFL and win; teams that were -2 or worse in turnovers Sunday were 0-4, losing by an average of 19 points.

12) Houston outgained the Raiders by 195 yards, but an inspired Oakland team hung on for a 25-20 upset win, picking off a pass in their end zone on the last play of the game. Raiders were playing with heavy hearts after the passing of longtime owner/GM Al Davis.

11) Tim Tebow came off the bench and damn near rallied Denver to a win over the Chargers, who had led 26-10 with 13:35 left. Tebow had one play from the San Diego 30-yard line with 0:01 left, but a pass was broken up, as Norv Turner's team improved to 4-1 with a 29-24 road win.

10) Seattle snapped a 9-game losing streak in the Eastern time zone when they upset the Giants 36-25 at Swamp Stadium, despite turning ball over twice in the Giant red zone in the game's first 21:46. Giants converted once on 12 third down plays and turned ball over five times, (-2) leading to the 20-yard advantage in average field position that Seahawks enjoyed.

9) 49ers are now +10 in turnovers after thrashing the overrated Bucs 48-3. Tampa Bay had been 9-0-2 vs spread in their previous 11 road games, but had a cross country road trip after a rare Monday night appearance.

8) Niners have now gone 27 games without allowing a rusher to gain 100+ yards, the longest active streak in the NFL.

7) Drew Brees has thrown a TD in 32 consecutive games, only Favre (36) and Unitas (47) have had longer streaks.

6) Pittsburgh waxed the Titans 38-17; the shoe Ben Roethlisberger wears on his injured foot is a size larger than the one on his healthy foot, so all the protective gear on the injured foot can fit inside the shoe.

5) Indianapolis led the Chiefs 17-0 with 11:13 left in the second quarter, but lost 28-24; on their first four drives, Kansas City ran 16 plays for 41 yards and two first downs. On their next six drives, Chiefs snapped the ball 46 times for 343 yards, 22 first downs and 28 points.

4) The catch Dwayne Bowe made on the TD pass that cut the Colts' lead to 24-21 was a truly great catch; plus, he was interfered with on the play.

3) Minnesota led the Cardinals 21-0 before the popcorn was done; really, with 6:25 left in first quarter, the Vikings already had TDs on drives of 18-24-25 yards, thanks to an INT, fumble and a 16-yard net punt. Minnesota has led four of five games at the half by 10+ points, but is only 1-4.

2) Teams that scored a defensive TD were 4-1 Sunday; only Denver lost.

1) Now that Cincinnati looks like they've got a keeper in rookie QB Andy Dalton, shouldn't they trade the rights to Carson Palmer and improve the team down the road? Why be spiteful and hurt your own team?

The Worst of Week Six Spooky Style

Show some goddamn respect. Me and the rest of RAIDER NATION are in mourning today. So please, a moment of silence for quite possibly the greatest owner in football history (if you ignore the last decade), Al Lucifer Davis.

Thank you. We never thought that it would happen but it finally did on Saturday morning. The undead has died. While whoever releases this stuff still isn't saying how or why Al died, I've got my theories.
*Ran out of formaldehyde
*National band-aid shortage and thus could not hold his skull together
*Finally surrendered 17 year game of chess to the Grim Reaper like in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey
*Decided that it would be more fun to haunt Gruden, Shanahan, and Lane Kiffin from the afterlife
*Figured that Hell couldn't be much worse than Oakland
*Did not want to live in a world where he had no excuse to fire Hue Jackson

However it happened, I respect Al Davis for what he did. If you know anything about how the AFL and NFL merged, you know that Al was responsible for pretty much all of it. Raider Nation will murder an extra Texans fan in your honor. Just Kill, Baby. Commitment to Hell. And so on and so forth. On to the worst of the weekend.

*Mark Davis - Al's son, a day after his old man dies, decides: "Eh, I'll catch a flight to Texas with my best Pete Rose haircut and watch a football game. It's what dad would have wanted." I hope to Hell that this weirdo is the new owner of the Raiders. This guy looks like a complete trainwreck.

*Blaine Gabbert - Yeah, he's not very good. Am I supposed to believe in these Bengals? I'm not sure yet. They appear to like each other and play hard. Obviously, the Red Rifle is playing well. They have the Colts next week, too (I think). Can the Bingles get to 4-2? Holy shit, that would be weird. By the way, it's pretty obvious that the Browns are the worst team in the North/planet.

*Brady Quinn - Wait--wasn't he the #2 QB? So why did Tebow replace the HORRIBLE Kyle Orton? OMG, John Fox let the fucking fans get to him. Fire him. Fire him now. He let a few billboards run his team.

*Heard at The Mansion yesterday - Me to She$, "Remind me that I have to take a shower tonight." I'm getting old after all. She also caught me smelling my armpit. It was not a pleasant stench either. I am disgusting.

*Big Ben H8RZ - You've got to give him credit, that was an Ultimate Warrior performance. No RB, no OL, five touchdown passes. That's more like it. I wouldn't overreact though, Steelers fans, you still have mountains of issues on both sides of the ball. You won't get to face a bald asshole QB every week.

*Survivor Pools - Stupid Giants...these should be about over now. If you can't count on Seattle traveling across the country to lose, then who can you count on? Glad I didnt use them this week. Ha Ha Typical Giants.

*Eli Manning - Just terrible. I don't care what his stat line says, the guy lost a fucking home game to CHARLIE WHITEHURST. The next time the Giants play, listen to Eli's calls at the line. He sounds like a total ferry.

*Kevin Kolb/Donovan McNabb - These two make at least 50 times more money than we do and suck. I hate America.

*Andrew Luck - Sorry, buddy, but you're going to have to sit behind Peyton Manning next year. The Colts are terrible. Who blows a 17 point lead to a Todd Haley-coached team at home??? The #1 picking team next year, that's who.

*DREEEEEEEAM TEEEEEEEEAM - They're done. It's over. Heads are going to roll. People NEED to get fired. Andy Reid is gone. Juan Valdez and Marty Morningwood are out. This team is a disaster. By the way, the Redskins are alone in first place after 5 weeks. Deal with it. And they WILL beat the Eagles next week. GO BILLS!!!

*JAAAAAASH Freeman - Whoa, I didn't see that coming. Although maybe I should have. They struggled to beat a shit Colts team at home on Monday night so why wouldn't they get skullfucked in San Fran. I think the Niners just mathematically won the NFC West. And I think that they're good. I THINK.

*Tebow Haters - OK, dude just knows how to win/put the team in position to win. He makes the Broncos worth watching. Do the Panthers and Broncos play this year? If they do, I would watch the shit out of that game.

*MUTINY! - According to reports, Santonio, Plax, and D-Mason all lobbied Rex Ryan to do something about Brian Schottenheimer's play-calling (since the Jets offense is God awful). There is a reason why wide receivers are the least likeable players on a team...because they are all assholes.

Oh man, tonight's game is going to be a good one. Since Hank Jr got fired, Barry "the man" Sanders will be welcoming us to the MNF telecast tonight. Bears/Lions...yep, that's my boner that you are seeing. It is not an illusion. May Suh kill Cutler once and for all...in the name of Al Davis, of course.
