To post in the weekly tracker of the NFL section, I will be able to compile up a top 25 list every week. What do I mean by that?
If the solid core of our regular posters can post in the tracker thread I release sometime every middle part of the week, that counts as a quality post. You can use that to your advantage to enter contests, but if I get a minimum of 50 cappers who can post 4 of their best picks per week at the very minimum, that will give me eligibility requirements to start up a bowl contest at the end of the NFL season.
How does it work? I'll rank your YTD record during the NFL season in relation to how the regular CFB and BCS standings stack up. If your record qualifies, I'll enter you in a bowl game with another capper from BTB. At the end of the regular season when the bowl standings and final BCS is revealed, you will go up against a fellow BTB capper with the opportunity to compete during the NFL playoffs. Each week of the NFL season would count as a quarter, and you'll be picking sides and totals based on a minimum of games. If you wind up with the most points, you will win your respective bowl game and perhaps earn a freeplay at the end of the season.
I know that BTB has grown at a solid rate over the last few years, so why not earn some free player points based on posting in the NFL and NCAA trackers with perhaps the potential to earn a freeplay at the end of the season? I will be in discussion with Ryan over the next severl days to discuss details, but I will need the forum's participation as well in order for this to happen. Either way you will be tracked during the regular season with the opportunity to reprsent BTB's best as this bowl contest at season's end has proven to be very successful and fun over the years. Just ask Spooky. He's a three time defending BCS Champ!
