I am all over Central Michigan on Saturday. I got this game on Thursday at C. Mich +6. The line since then has dropped to +4.5. As I predicted last weekend, I see an upset in this game. Last week I predicted USC to upset Stanford at Stanford and that very thing happened. This week I predict another upset with Central Michigan at home getting the points facing the lowly Syracuse OrangeMEN ( I know they are called the Orange now, but I refuse to give in to political correctness). Cuse (1-0) has had 2 weeks off after playing only one game on the season. C. Mich. is 2-0 with no time off. That very thing tells me that the Chippewas have a HUGE advantage (at this point in the season) because it gives them one more game to get the team to "gel" and work the bugs out. The ORANGEMEN (I repeat, I'm not PC) do NOT have that advantage. 2 weeks ago the orangeMEN at home beat the lowly Villanova Wildcats. Last Week, C. Mich. beat the Purdue Boliermakers AT Purdue 38-17. So add it up...Cuse wins by one point at home against a not-so-good-team, yet C. Mich on the road last week whoops ass on Purdue AT Purdue as an underdog. C. Mich has a secondary that is a force to be reckoned with, and the orangeMEN will not be able to handle the Chippewas in this Game. The Chippewas win this game OUTRIGHT in an upset by at least 7 points.
Now that's more like it! Travis Wilson and Kendall Thompson combine for 268 passing yards and 6 TD passes while the ground game balances out for another 258 as the Utes take this one easily from pillar to post! As always thanks and congrats to all that followed and best of luck on Sunday!
USC Trojans (appropriate name for a California team, the land of fruits and nuts) heads to Stanford to meet the Stanford Cardinals on Saturday. The line opened at Stanford -2½ and has moved to -3. Looking at last weeks game people might think that Stanford laid an ass whoopin on UC Davis 45-0. I live 10 minutes from UCD and that team ain't shit, they never have been and they never will be. It goes against the grain of that major liberal college to "hurt" people. I graduated in Davis in '72 and nothing has changed. Looking at USC last week, they beat Fresno State (I live 2 hours from there) 52-13. FSU is a LOT better team than UCD. FSU could beat UCD by the same margin that Stanford did last week. I follow the west coast teams quite a bit, so I am somewhat familiar with them. Stanford is USC's oldest rival, with this series dating back to 1905. USC holds a 59-29-3 series advantage. USC has a better defense than Stanford, Stanford doesn't have the experience (even at home) to cover this line, much less win. I am predicting USC to upset Stanford in a low scoring game. I am taking USC plus the points here in a game I think they will win 24-21. I think this will be the best game to watch on Saturday. If you follow, good luck to us!!!

Warren Moon loses $200K in Miami Heat ticket, ownership scam By John Breech | CBSSports.com January 24, 2014 4:04 pm ET Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Moon will be heading to New York this week with $200,000 less in his bank account. The former NFL quarterback, who serves as the analyst on the Seahawks flagship radio station, was scammed out of the money by a man who sold him Miami Heat tickets that didn't actually exist. A man named George French Jones approached Moon about buying four courtside tickets and a five percent ownership in the Heat. Moon's agent then wired $200,000 to a bank in Pasadena, Calif., to complete the transaction. Apparently Jones told Moon that if he bought the tickets, it would be viewed as a sort of down payment for the five percent ownership stake, according to MyFoxLA. Unfortunately for Moon, the tickets didn't exist and Jones has disappeared. Both the NBA and the Miami Heat have contacted the FBI to investigate the situation. Jones is also being sued by Moon's company, Sports 1 Marketing, but no one has been able to locate Jones. According to MyFoxLA, Jones also tried to scam at least two other NFL players and may be trying to contact other professional athletes. Moon is finishing his 10th season as the Seahawks' official radio analyst.
Hope you have a great 24th birthday my friend!!
