The 2024 MMA and UFC schedule will continue this weekend as there will be another Fight Night set to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. There is a big matchup slated to take place as the main event, and there are other interesting matchups to check out as well.

Since there will be some big fights set to take place this weekend, there are also going to be some great betting options out there. Not every single fight will lead to good betting options, but there will be enough to keep you busy.

Here is a look at some of the top fights this weekend and the top betting options to explore.

Nicolau-Perez in Main Event

The main event of the night will feature a pair of flyweight contenders that are trying to stay on the path to reaching a championship matchup at some point. Matheus Nicolua will take on Alex Perez in the final fight of the night, and there are some interesting odds to check out.

Nicolau has appeared to be more impressive so far throughout the early stages of his career, and he is the betting favorite at -182 in this fight. Perez does have some impressive wins as well, but his betting odds set at +157 do make him the underdog.

Both fighters are going to be extremely aggressive in this fight as neither can afford to take on another loss. This should be a battle all the way until the fight ends, but taking Nicolau at -182 is going to be the top betting option to explore.

Light Heavyweights Ready to Rumble

The penultimate fight of the night will feature Ryan Spann taking on Bogdan Guskov in a matchup of interesting light heavyweight fighters. Both fighters have proven that they have the talent to be a title contender, but neither has been able to find a ton of success throughout their career.

Spann has been one of the most contradicting fighter on the UFC so far as he just hasn’t been able to live up to all of his talent. He is favored to win this fight at -200, and there is still hope that he will put it all together.

Guskov is a fighter that has won some big fights throughout his career, but he also has some disappointing losses. Don’t expect this fight to last the entire distance, and going with Spann at -200 is the way to go.

The featherweight class is one that gets overlooked at times, but that’s not going to be the case when looking at the fight card on Saturday night. Jonathan Pearce and David Onama are two fighters that have had some mixed results of late, but they appear to be on a level playing field ahead of this bout.

Pearce is a slight betting favorite at -180, and he was a fighter that was on a path to being a title contender at one point. Onama will be looking for an upset win this weekend, and the betting odds set at +155 give him a shot to get that done.

Even if Onama is able to keep this fight close, Pearce will be the fighter that comes away with a win.

Other Great Fights

Even though this is not going to be one of the biggest nights of the season for the UFC, there will still be some great fights on the card. Focusing on the main card is going to be a great option, but you will also want to look at the preliminary card in order to get the best betting options.
