Opening Line: Saints -4 , Total 45.5

One of the surprises so far this NFL season has been the disappointing start of the New Orleans Saints. The Saints were thought of as a Super Bowl contender but have started off the season 0-2. "I'm very surprised. We really need to take a deep look at ourselves, identify the problems and figure out how to fix it,' Saints quarterback Drew Brees said. The good news for New Orleans is that they play at home for the first time this season. The Saints also know that an 0-2 start is not the end of the world. "By no means are we out of it," said Brees, "It sets you back, but it's nothing we can't overcome." SBG Global reports that early betting has the public taking the favored Saints at home.

New Orleans will look to get their offense on track tonight. The Saints have turned the ball over five times and scored just two touchdowns so far this season. Reggie Bush and Deuce McAllister don’t have a TD yet this year. Brees has not played well either. "I think we have the ability to be a very good offense," said Brees, "One of the best, if not the best, in the league. Unfortunately we're not playing like it right now.'

The Saints defense has also been poor. They are allowing 391 yards per game. New corner Jason David has been terrible and the team is giving up way too many big plays.

The Titans come into the game at 1-1 and have looked good so far this season. The Titans are averaging an NFL-best 211.5 yards per game on the ground. "If you can run the football, typically what happens over the course of the year is your scoring efficiency increases and improves, because teams become more and more concerned about the run," head coach Jeff Fisher said. Chris Young has 209 yards so far this season and is complemented by LenDale White and quarterback Vince Young. The Titans had a chance to upset the Colts last week but could not get the final TD. "Anytime the ball's in Vince Young's hands, everyone feels like we're going to win the game,' Titans defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch said, "We were just waiting for something magical to happen.”

The Titans have won three straight against New Orleans including a 27-11 victory in 2003 at New Orleans.
