The New England Patriots will try and keep their perfect record intact as they host the Washington Redskins on Sunday. The Patriots have won each of their seven games by at least 17 points and have an offense that has been unstoppable. The Patriots look like a serious contender to be the first team since the 1972 Miami Dolphins to go unbeaten. They are a 16.5 point favorite over a 4-2 Washington Redskins team. The key this week for the Patriots will be to focus on the Redskins since the unbeaten Indianapolis Colts are up next. New England is coming off a rout of Miami last week 49-28. Quarterback Tom Brady completed 21 of 25 passes for 354 yards and a team-record six touchdowns. Wes Welker had nine catches for 138 yards and two touchdowns. Randy Moss had four catches for 122 yards and two TD’s. "Those guys are making the plays," Brady said. "I'm just throwing it. They're making my job awful easy." The Patriots might get a test this week as they finally play a team with a defense. The Redskins rank third in scoring defense (14.7), fifth in total defense (276.8) and eighth in passing defense (196.2). New England is 24-4 in their last 28 games against the NFC including three Super Bowl wins. The Redskins have had some success against New England though, winning the last six times.
