The two best teams in the NFC meet on Thursday night as the Dallas Cowboys host the Green Bay Packers. It is a battle of two top offenses as quarterbacks Tony Romo and Brett Favre square off. This is the first time two teams with records of 10-1 or better will play since 1990. This is a huge game in terms of home field advantage since the teams could meet in the NFC Championship. The game is being televised on the NFL Network which means many people in the United States will not get to see the game since the NFL Network is still not carried on many cable systems. SBG Global reports that early NFL betting has the public taking Packers on the Road.
The Cowboys can clinch the NFC East with a win while the Packers could clinch the NFC North with a win and a Detroit loss. The Cowboys are leading the NFC in points scored with 358. Romo has already tied the Cowboys single-season team record for touchdown passes with 29. He should also set the single-season club record for passing yards before the year is over. Romo is a huge fan of Brett Favre and is looking forward to the game on Thursday. "I just think it's going to be fun," said Romo, "Any time you play in a big game it's enjoyable. The fact it's the Packers is exciting for me." Romo has been throwing to Terrell Owens a great deal this season. Owens has 13 TD’s and is only one behind the team record of 14. Romo will also have receiver Patrick Crayton back this week. Crayton missed last week's game due to a sprained ankle.
