Total: 31-22-1 (57%)
1. Sunday November 2nd
Houston +4.5
They may not have played the best teams in the past couple of weeks but you have to keep an eye on this Houston team. They have come around and are starting to mesh. The offense looks great and more importantly the defense is looking great and making stops when they need to. Minnesota has floundered in four of its last six home games versus AFC foes, both SU and ATS. The Texans will be able to keep the run at bay and surprise the Vikings!
2. Sunday November 2nd
Browns -1
The Browns will look to get revenge for losing to the Ravens and are playing much better of late. This is a good spot as we get a team that won outright on the road and are coming home full of confidence. The Ravens have lost three of four SU and failed to cash four straight road meetings. The Browns are 7-2 ATS versus division foes and 8-1 as favorites and they have covered 11 of their last 13 against winning team. In addition, they are 11-0 ATS after playing a road game. Baltimore has dropped seven of nine spread decisions on the conference road. The Browns take it to the Ravens and get the win!
3. Sunday November 2nd
Rams +3
The Rams are playing remarkably well since Haslett took over. They have played well against some of the best teams in the league and came close to another upset as they narrowly lost to the Patriots. They have home field and will get a road weary Cardinals team. Arizona has struggled on the road, failing to cash three of four while allowing an average of 31.4 points in its last seven games. The Rams put together another good game and get the win at home!
4. Monday November 3rd
Pittsburgh / Washington Over 36.5
The Monday night games have been great to watch and another staple this year is that the Monday night games have always found away to go over the total. This game should be no different. Pittsburgh has a great defense but Washington plays a type of offense that can score against the Steelers. The Steelers will look to go to a faster paced offense and will want to prove they can beat the NFC East after getting dumped by the Giants. Look for scores by the defense and the special teams as this one keeps up the trend of Monday night games going over the total.
5. Sunday November 2nd
Miami +3
The Dolphins are going to be a good team this year and we better get used to it. On the same front the Broncos have problems. They have a good offense but the defense has plenty of holes and the Patriots showed that on Monday night. Miami is 29-11 ATS vs. AFC West and Denver is 0-12 ATS total is between 42.5 and 49. Denver is 3-14 as home favorites and the Broncos have failed to get the cheese in 12 straight games when the 'total' was between 42 1/2 and 49. Miami has cashed 29 of its last 40 when facing teams from the AFC West. The Dolphins have also won five of seven and cashed six of their last seven against Denver. The Broncos have trouble stopping the fish on the ground and lose at home.
6. Sunday November 2nd
Detroit / Bears Over 42.5
When these teams first met it were the Bears that just torched Detroit with offense and Kyle Orton looked like Joe Montana tearing up the secondary of the lowly Lions. The Lions have had some success with Johnson at tailback and the new QB in the system, this looks to be a high scoring game and we expect this one to go over the total. The Bears have been well known to go over at home when laying points. Chicago is 15-3 over as home favorite and that gets better when you expand it. The Bears have zipped over in 17 of 21 at home and in 15 of 18 as chalk at Soldier Field. This one is a high scoring affair!
7. Sunday November 2nd
Buffalo -5.5
The Bills are off a tough loss on the road to Miami and now find themselves in a tie for first place with the New England Patriots. The Bills know they have to start winning and keep their distance from the Patriots. Thankfully they are back home again and they are very comfortable in that spot. Buffalo has held the upper hand against the New York Jets, winning and cashing three straight at Wilson Stadium and seven of the past nine meetings overall. The Bills are 22-9 ATS at home in November. Farve has shown he can be interception prone and that will cost him against the tough Buffalo defense in harsh conditions. The Bills roll the Jets!
