Week five is upon us in the NFL and this week there are some great games on tap. Last week the Super seven finished at 5-2 and now the overall record stands at 16-12. Here are the Super Seven selections for this week.

1) Sunday October 11th: Dallas @ Kansas City

The Cowboys head to Kansas City to try and regroup from the upset loss to Denver. The offense and the defense was exposed and they will look to make amends. The Chiefs have been a whipping boy for other teams in the league but on offense they are starting to look better. The Cowboys and the Chiefs should both put up points putting this game over the total. The Cowboys have jumped the number at an 11-5-1 pace after losing SU as favorites. Kansas City has ended on the up side in 12 of 17 at home off a double-digit defeat. Take the over!

Play: Over 43

2) Sunday October 11th: Cleveland @ Buffalo

Cleveland has yet to win a game but have to be inspired by how close they played against the Ravens. The Bills on the other hand were crushed by the Dolphins. Cleveland has had good luck against the AFC-East, getting the cheese in seven of eight tries. Buffalo has floundered in 10 of 14 as favorites off a division loss. The Browns have covered 10 of 12 after facing Cincinnati while the Bills have dropped 20 of 23 spread decisions the week after playing Miami. I don’t know how a 1-6 team can be a 6 point favorite. Take the Browns.

 Play: Browns +6

3) Sunday October 11th: Atlanta @ San Francisco

The 49ers have been the surprise team and look very good only losing to the Vikings on a last minute play. The Falcons are coming off a bye and have had time to prepare for the 49ers. San Francisco is 3-6-2 ATS off a double-digit win, 7-16 ATS following a double-digit division victory and 1-7 ATS after scoring 28 points or more. The Falcons are 24-8 ATS on the road after allowing 400 or more yards in their last game. Matt Ryan and the Falcons will take the 49ers down a notch and win outright on the road.

Play: Falcons +2

4) Sunday October 11th: Cincinnati @ Baltimore

The Ravens feel like they were robbed in New England after losing due to a dropped pass and some bad calls. The Ravens come into this game with a big chip on their shoulder and the upstart Bengals should be in trouble. Baltimore has won and covered nine of 13 versus Cincinnati at home, while the favorite is 11-4 in the last 15 division battles. The SU winner has grabbed the green in 24 of 26 showdowns. The Ravens are 9-1 as favorites and 8-1 ATS after winning three of four games. Finally the Bengals have dropped 19 of 22 ATS as road pups versus an opponent with a winning percentage over .700.  Flacco will eat up the pass defense and the ravens roll to an easy win.

Play: Ravens -9

5) Sunday October 11th: Patriots @ Broncos

The Broncos are stunning everyone as they have jumped out to a 4-0 start. The Broncos will look for revenge when they face a Patriots team that whipped them 41-7 last year. Josh McDaniel’s knows this offense very well since he was offense coordinator just a year ago. The Broncos have dropped eight of their last nine spread decisions off a home win and are just 9-18 ATS after winning as underdogs. Bill Belichick will make sure that his coach does not come back to haunt him and the Patriots win big.

Play: Patriots -3

6) Sunday October 11th: Indianapolis @ Tennessee

The Colts are undefeated and the Titans have yet to win this year. This is not what the schedule makers had in mind when they put this game on Sunday Night Football. The Titans do play well against the Colts and with the exception of last game have had Manning’s number. . Tennessee has covered 17 of 24 after losing by 14 points or more and 17 of 24 as dogs. A desperate team on national television in conference may be just what the Titans need to finally get a win.

Play: Titans  +4

7) Monday October 12th Jets @ Dolphins

Mark Sanchez has done very well as quarterback of the Jets, until last week when he played in a hostile environment and turned the ball over. This week there should be more of the same when the Jets play Monday Night Football in Miami. The Dolphins trashed the Bills and they are playing great defense especially against the run. New York is 1-6 as favorites of less than nine points with revenge and the straight up winner in this AFC-East shootout is 19-3-2 ATS. That trend will continue and the Dolphins beat the Jets in front of the home crowd under the lights.

Play: Dolphins +1
