NFL Week 2 Picks

The second week of the NFL is about to get underway and there are plenty of marquee games
Each week, exclusively at Bangthebook.com I will release the Super Six in the NFL. This will be the top six football betting games that the NFL has to offer. Last week I stumbled out of the gates with a 2-4 record, but historically I have rebounded well.
Here are the Super Six picks for week two:

Oakland at Buffalo
The Bills stunned the world last week by crushing the KC Chiefs on the road. Now they are home and living off the high from the big victory. The result will be a big win over the Raiders as they struggle to keep quarterback Jason Campbell upright. Buffalo is 5-0 ATS in their last five matchups with AFC West opponents and the Raiders are 12-26 ATS in their last 38 games after accumulating less than 150 yards passing in their previous game. Bills win big and put up big numbers again.
Buffalo -3.5

Baltimore at Tennessee

The Ravens were fired up to hand it to the Steelers in week one, and will have trouble getting up for a game in Tennessee. The Titans will rely on Chris Johnson with an increased workload this week and that should open up the passing game. This is a perfect example of bettors over reacting to week one. Titans keep this close enough to win.
Tennessee +6

Chicago at New Orleans

The Bears started the year off with a dominating defensive performance against the Falcons. That makes the seven points they are getting against the Saints look like a gift. Without Brian Urlacher, the Bears will be very thin at linebacker. The Bears are 8-22 ATS in their last 30 games as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0 and the Saints are 14-5 ATS in their last 19 games following a loss.
Saints -7

Philadelphia at Atlanta

The Atlanta Falcons are facing a 0-2 hole and are in big trouble at home against the Eagles. The Eagles and Michael Vick looked flawless against the Rams. The Falcons need to win this game and Matt Ryan is a much different signal caller at home then he is on the road. This one is close, but the Falcons win.
Falcons +2

Houston at Miami

Houston dismantled a short-handed team when they throttled the Colts in week one, and they received some high praise. Too much in my opinion as they are now road favorites over the Dolphins. It may have gone unnoticed, but the Dolphins had a good game offensively. They replaced players at corner back and that will allow them to upset the Texans and win at home.
Miami +3

Arizona at Washington

The Redskins looked impressive against the Giants in week one, but will face a different opponent in the Cardinals. The Giants were injured on defense and hampered on offense. The Cardinals clicked on offense gaining over seven yards per play. While the Redskins will try to keep pace in this shootout they will be hard pressed to cover the number.
Arizona +4.5
