After back to back dismal weeks it was good to be on the winning side of things again last week, even though it was just a notch over .500. This week is when you really have to scour the card and see what games are the best to play based on the teams that are mailing it in. For example last week was a perfect example of how the niners mailed it in and the Vikings had something to play with. On to the super seven:

1. Houston PK
There is no reason to fear the Texans trying to mail it as evidenced by the way the played against the Buccaneers last week when Tampa had a shot at the division clincher. This week they have a high profile game and at home you can expect for them to show up again in full force. Denver has floundered when facing teams with poor pass defenses (allowing completion percentage of 61 or more), dropping 10 of 11 ATS.

2. Bengals / 49ers Under 44
The niners have mailed it in and its mainly because the offense has fallen off the face of the planet. The defense kept them in games as long as they can but it isn’t enough and with the QB’s switching all the time I would be surprised if they score even against a weak Bengal defense. The 49ers have slipped below the total in five of six home games this season.
3. Miami +3.5
It is very tough to back a team that has yet to have a win this season, but if not for the losing streak of the fish the focus would be on how bad the Ravens are playing. Baltimore has lost 18 of its last 25 on the road and failed to cash 16 of 25. There is no way that they should be favorites on the road against anyone even the Dolphins. Baltimore is 0-6 ATS off a home game and Miami is 6-1 ATS off BB Overs. Cleo sparked the Dolphin offense and look for the defense to play well against the weak Raven offense.

4. Philly +10.5
Dallas has done well enough where they don’t need to run it up against the Eagles and after getting one game under his belt Mcnabb will be ready to give the Cowboys a run for the game in this one. The Eagles are 20-8 ATS avenging a home loss and they have 'covered' 10 of 12 off a division game. The Cowboys have flopped in eight of their last 11 ATS versus Philadelphia at home. The SU winner in this NFC-East rivalry is 28-4-1 ATS. Look for the Eagles to be the shocker dog of the week!

5. San Diego -10
The Chargers are believers and are starting to challenge one another to stand up and finish strong. The lions are off the toughest loss of the season and it will be time for them to start mailing it in especially in a road game. The Lions are 16-6 ATS after five or more straight losses. San Diego has cashed 28 of 42 off three or more straight spread wins. The Chargers have also 'covered' eight straight versus good passing teams averaging 235 or more yards per game through the air. Detroit is 3-11 ATS off a home game and San Diego is 28-14 ATS off 3+ ATS wins.

6. Arizona +3.5
This could be one of the better games of the week as the Cardinals and the Saints will be fighting for their playoff lives. If either one of them wants to continue in the playoff hunt then this game is a must win. The Saints are off an impressive win but it’s against the Falcons and they won’t have enough time to prepare. Arizona is 5-1 ATS off a straight up loss and New Orleans is 2-10 ATS as a home favorite.

7. Atlanta +13
I know earlier I told you to look for teams that have mailed it in and have faded from the picture and let’s face it the Falcons mailed it in a long time ago. However they now have a reason to units and play well. Bobby Petrino. He left this team when they were at the lowest point after an embarrassing home loss during the Vick drama just after the owner said he supports the Head Coach. Now it is out that the team is upset and it will bond them closer and they may upset the Bucs on the road. Atlanta is 13-1 ATS away after allowing 450+ total yards and Tampa Bay is 2-9 ATS after winning 4 or 5 of their last 6 games.
