1. Detroit +3
I never have a problem backing a home team on a holiday! Detroit has 'covered' 11 of its last 16 versus the Packers at home and the host is 14-4 ATS in this NFC Central rivalry. In addition, the Lions are 14-5 ATS off back-to-back SU and ATS losses and 18-10 ATS after scoring 10 points or less. They have also 'covered' eight of nine at Ford Field in November with revenge versus a division opponent.
2. Jets +15
The jets have played much better ball and are off a big win over the Steelers. They have set up the running game to defeat the Steelers and if they can do it again this one will be close. The Cowboys will be looking ahead to the showdown with the Packers. Dallas has been no bargain as a double-digit favorite (9-18-2).
3. Colts/Falcons over 41
The Colts have had issues in the last week but all should be cured when they face the Falcons at home on Thanksgiving. The Falcons will be able to put a few up late in the game to push this over the top. The Falcons have been on the high side in 14 of 22 as double-digit dogs and in 14 of 20 as short-enders versus non-conference opponents. They have also topped the 'total' in 11 of 15 at home after scoring 10 points or less.
4. Buffalo +8
Buffalo was flat out embarrassed on national television against the Patriots and will play a tough game in hopes of saving face this week. Buffalo has bounced back to 'cover' 14 of 15 after facing New England. The Bills are also 13-2 ATS off a SU division loss.
5. Washington +3.5
The Redskins are not winning games but they are playing close when it comes to the final stretch. Tampa Bay is 3-11 ATS off back-to-back SU wins. Washington is 3-1 as underdogs this year and 3-1-1 ATS on the road. When WASHINGTON REDSKINS team played as a Road team - Vs Non Division Opponent - Allowed 22 - 28 AGAINST in their last game they are 11-5-2 ATS. When TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS team played as a pk to -3.0 Favorite - During Week 8 to 12 - Coming off vs National Conference opponent they are 3-9-1 ATS.
6. St. Louis +3
The Rams are starting to turn things and albeit too late they are playing good now and that is all that matter when you have a home dog! The Seahawks have struggled on the road, losing and failing to cash in three of four tries this season. They have come up short in 17 of 25 as road favorites and in 13 of 17 as road chalk of 3 1/2 points or less. Seattle is also 2-10 ATS off back-to-back SU and ATS wins.St. Louis has cashed nine of 10 at home after yielding 10 points or less and 12 of 15 after facing San Francisco.
7. KC -5.5
The Chiefs are ready to move on and take a shot at the AFC West but they need this win. The Raiders are 14-24 ATS recently on the road. Kansas City nipped Oakland in the first meeting of the season on the road, 12-10. The Chiefs have won 27 of the past 35 series battles (23-11-1 ATS). They are 12-3 ATS when playing their second division home game and 9-2 as favorites when the total is less than 35.
