Week 11 in the NFL is behind us and it was another wild ride. The favorites dominated and the fans of the NFL were treated to another blowout victory by the New England Patriots. The week also included will endings in Baltimore and vivid upsets in New York and a war of words after a game in Detroit! What more could a fan of the NFL look for? A short week and the return of football in just a couple of days and great games slated for Turkey day! So buckle in and get ready to chow down as the NFL week ten is set up in rewind fashion and we cover the biggest upsets, and the big numbers of the week!

Beyond the line:
Beyond the line does just that and goes beyond the numbers that are posted for the week by Vegas. They compare the games for the week with the lines from the experts that are offered and show what angles would have cashed the big money tickets. Usually the underdogs and the favorites are right about .500 and the sports bettor has to dig deeper to come up with the best scenario that would have gotten the green, but not this week. This week the favorites were the big money winners, hands down! It would not matter if they were double digits, on the road, or at home the chalk was the way to go. In fact the sports bettor that would have blindly have taken the favorites this week would have won an amazing twelve games out of the fifteen posted! That is an amazing clip and the books must have taken it in the chops with that number of favorites that came across as winners this week.

Big Dog of the week:
The big dog of the week is the team in the NFL for that week that pulled the biggest upset of the week. As the sports bettor clearly understands, the favorites covered plenty this week and that means the big dogs were not barking very loudly. While Arizona showed some folks that they are a team to be taken serious with a solid road win they are not the big dog of the week. That reward goes to the New York Jets. The jets dumped the Pittsburgh Steelers and amassed a ton of rushing yards in the process. In fact Thomas Jones of Bears fame tore it up on the ground and made the Steel Curtain look defenseless when he put up 117 yards rushing on the ground!

Fantasy Impact Player of the Week:
This is going to be a tough position to name this week. This spot is usually reserved for the best player this week when it came to stats, whether it is TD’s or passing or rushing numbers, but this week it is tough to pick. For Quarterbacks Brady (of course) and Jon Kitna put up over 370 yards passing in leading the way for yardages among Quarterbacks. Chester Taylor made fans forget about Peterson for three hours when he posted huge rushing numbers in a win over the Raiders beating out Westbrook and the aforementioned Thomas Jones. Finally when it came to yardage it was T.O. that led the way! When it comes to TD’s it was the Patriots and the Cowboys leading the way. For the Cowboys, T.O and Romo had four each and in Buffalo, Brady had 5 and Moss had 4, overall a super week in the NFL for fantasy players!

Must see Game for Week 12:
This week the sports bettor has a ton to look out for and of course it starts on Thanksgiving. Turkey day not only offers up great football as always, but great games as the Packers and the Lions battle in a super divisional tilt! For the Sunday games it is the Eagles trying to do what seems impossible this week as they try to give the New England Patriots the first loss of the year. While it seems impossible the Eagles have a chance and therefore that game becomes must see TV!
