10/13 -New York Giants at Cleveland Browns Pick - The New York Giants are looking every bit like Super Bowl champs so far this season. They are one of only two unbeaten teams in the NFL and seem to be getting better each week. They shellacked the Seattle Seahawks last week 44-6 and this week they get wide receiver Plaxico Burress back from a one game suspension. Quarterback Eli Manning is playing as well as anyone in the league and everything is clicking for the Giants.
10/12- Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Pick and Preview - The 2008 Carolina Panthers are starting to look at lot like the 2003 team that went to the Super Bowl. Seven of the 24 starters remain from that team including quarterback Jake Delhomme and receiver Steve Smith. The one area that might be better this season for Carolina is the defense. The Panthers are 4th in the NFL in total defense this season.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Denver Broncos Pick and Preview - The Denver Broncos will go for their seventh straight home win dating back to last season as they host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The Jaguars and Broncos have met six times in history with each team winning three times, although the Jaguars have won the last three meetings. Last year the Jaguars won 23-14 against Denver and outrushed the Broncos 186-47 in the game. Jacksonville will look to run the ball again on Sunday as Denver has the 25th ranked run defense in the NFL. This season the Jaguars have struggled to run the ball though, after ranking 2nd in the NFL a year ago.
New England Patriots at San Diego Chargers Pick and Preview - The San Diego Chargers face what is almost a must-win game on Sunday as they host the New England Patriots. The Chargers are 2-3 and a loss would send them to 2-4 and put them in serious trouble. They have to travel to Buffalo and face the Saints in London this month so winning on Sunday is very important.
10/9 - The NFL free picks have been posted check them out: NFL pick of the week, total of the week NFL underdog picks and Monday night pick
10/6 - Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints Pick and Preview The New Orleans Saints defense will be tested on Monday night as Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings come to town. The Saints have given up almost 1,500 yards this season, 5th worst in the NFL. If they expect to win on Monday night they will have to find a way to stop Peterson.
10/5 - Pittsburgh Steelers at Jacksonville Jaguars Pick and Preview One of the best games on Sunday should be in Jacksonville as the Jaguars host the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Jaguars have owned the Steelers lately, winning the last four meetings between the two teams including last year’s playoff game. “We have some recent history with those guys,” Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin said this week. “They are a very good football team.”
Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles Pick and Preview - The Washington Redskins were the overlooked team in the NFC East before the season began but after last week’s upset win over Dallas, they are starting to get respect. If they can win another road game in the division they would really establish themselves as serious playoff contenders.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Denver Broncos Pick and Preview -One of the more entertaining games on Sunday could be in Denver as the high scoring Broncos host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Broncos offense has bailed them out in most games but it couldn’t do enough last week in the loss to Kansas City. The Broncos rank 30th in the league in yards allowed and 31st in points allowed.
