Opening Line: Broncos -1.5 , Total 42

The San Diego Chargers will try and keep their season from totally falling apart as they travel to take on the Broncos in Denver on Sunday. The Chargers have started 1-3 under new head coach Norv Turner and fans in San Diego are already calling for Marty Schottenheimer to be brought back. The Chargers led the NFL last year in points scored with 492 but this season they have been outscored 102-68 in their first four games. SBG Global reports that early betting has the public taking the favored Broncos at Home.

The biggest problem for San Diego is on the sidelines. Norv Turner now has a career record of 59-85-1 as head coach. It is obvious to everyone that he is not cut out to be head coach. LaDainian Tomlinson had 31 touchdowns and 1,815 yards last season but has not gotten the ball nearly enough this season. He did have 132 yards and a touchdown last week against the Chiefs but it didn’t matter. He could find some running room this week against a Broncos defense that is allowing 181 rushing yards per game. The Chargers also need to get quarterback Philip Rivers going. He had just 211 yards and no touchdowns last week and threw two interceptions and fumbled. He has committed nine turnovers this season. "Just way too many turnovers," Rivers said. "Again, I'm going to work to get that fixed. That's never been a problem that I've had and I don't expect it to continue to be one."

San Diego is 1-3 in their division but only a game behind the other teams that are 2-2. "The positive side of this is that as bad as these three games have been, we sit here one game out of a big cluster in the division," Rivers said, "That's the bottom line. We can still be where we want to be. Every goal is still there to be achieved ."  It will not be easy in Denver for the Chargers. Since 1971, the Chargers are 6-30 in Denver.

Denver led last week 10-0 versus the Indianapolis Colts and then got steamrolled, losing 38-20. Denver has had to settle for field goals far too often this season as they have eight field goals versus seven touchdowns. "It's a little frustrating," tight end Daniel Graham said. "In this league, you've got to put up seven. We can't settle for three in the red zone. It hurt us yesterday, not putting up seven."  The Broncos may be without running back Travis Henry who is nursing injuries.  He is facing a possible league suspension but that won’t occur until after an appeal.  Wide receiver Javon Walker is also questionable this week with a knee injury.
