Key Questions for 2008 Season:
Will Adam Pacman Jones help or hurt the Cowboys? Could be another distraction!
How will a poor start go over in Big D? Wade Philips safe?
Distractions distractions can they stay focused?
Rookie On the Spot: Running Back Felix Jones the Cowboys 1st pick and 22nd overall in the 2008 NFL draft will be looked upon to make an immediate impact with former starting running back Julius Jones now in Seattle. Marion Barber who served as the backup to Julius Jones will take over the lead role in the Cowboys backfield. Marion Barber is not experienced as a feature back and tends to wear down with over use as seen in games with over 20 carries in the game. Felix Jones will be counted on to be a productive change-of-pace back in relief for Barber.
Fantasy Sleeper Pick: Felix Jones-Jones will get plenty of opportunities to showcase his skills this season. At only 200 lbs, Jones can flat out fly and is a great receiver out of the backfield. He may also dip into the return game if needed, and is a playmaker when the ball is in his hands.
2008 Prediction: The 2008 Dallas Cowboys should be the one of the most complete team in the NFC this season. However they may also have the most personality problems as well. If they are able to get off to a fast start this team will have a successful campaign, if not watchout for players like T.O. to start talking and a quick hook on the Head Coach. A Super Bowl drought could end this year but Wade Phillips has never handled the playoffs well. Look for a great regular season and another playoff flop.
