Avalanche Fall 6-4 Against Minnesota - Game Recap

Minnesota earned a 6-4 victory over Colorado behind a 2-goal performance from Devin Setoguchi on Saturday at Pepsi Center. The Wild were a +100 underdog in the win. Suter opened the scoring at 4:16 of the first period. Niklas Backstrom turned in a 28-save effort for the Wild. Colorado got goals from Chuck Kobasew, P.A. Parenteau, John Mitchell, and Gabriel Landeskog in the loss, but it wasn't enough. Colorado got a 12-stop effort from Semyon Varlamov in the loss. On the power play, Minnesota went 1-for-2, while the Avalanche were 0-for-2 with the man advantage. Minnesota lost the shots on goal battle to Colorado by a margin of 32-28. Next game, Minnesota takes its act on the road to face Vancouver looking for another win. For Colorado, they head home to face Chicago.
