Nashville's defense, led by netminder Pekka Rinne, shut down Phoenix 3-0 at Bridgestone Arena on on Thursday.
The Predators were a -115 favorite in the win. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 5.
Nashville got goals from Mike Fisher, Nick Spaling, and Gabriel Bourque in the victory. Bourque opened the scoring at 2:40 of the third period.
Pekka Rinne turned in a 19-save effort for the Predators.
Mike Smith stopped 26 of 29 shots for the Coyotes, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.
On the power play, Nashville went 1-for-2, while the Coyotes were 0-for-4 with the man advantage.
Phoenix lost the shots on goal battle to Nashville by a margin of 29-19.
Next game, Nashville takes its act home to face Anaheim looking for another win. For Phoenix, they head home to face Columbus.
